Justin Forman

Justin Forman

Licensed Psychologist

Justin Forman has been practicing as a licensed psychologist in Santa Rosa for the past 8 years. He is excited about the possibilities for psychedelic approaches to healing. He is particularly interested in finding the intersections between community, ecstatic states, creative expression, and somatic awareness.

His own personal practices include deep engagement with nature, artistic expression, and martial arts. He is interested in engaging and re-imagining ancestral practices that continue to inform and support us in our healing, reconnection and wholeness. His awareness has been cultivated through study and engagement of earth based spiritual practices in a variety of traditions and approaches.

He believes that the use of psychedelics has the potential to powerfully engage the healing imagination of both participant and guide, helping to reconnect with ancestral lineage, connect to spirituality, process trauma and loss, and return the vitality of being that so many have lost because of their experiences. He also believes that this approach to healing has environmental and socio-political implications as so much of our nervous system responses to trauma play out in how we perceive, understand, and interact in the world. These approaches present a chance to radically and quickly alter consciousness in ways that ripple out from individuals and spread into communities and nations.
